Just slip the belt over the motor spool, lower the metal disk, and you’re done. The automatic arm feature saves time, especially if you’re used to good old-fashioned manual procedures.

The one-button play is foolproof. You won’t need to fuss with tonearm adjustments, as it’s pre-set for convenience. The RCA jacks switch between phono and regular (depending on your stereo input). The functions — start, stop, lift needle, return to rest — are straightforward.

I would like to point out a number of features of Stream Carbon: carbon fiber tonearm, adjustable counterweight, and Ortofon 2M Red cartridge. These provide a dynamic frequency response. Compatibility with Sonos systems is a rather attractive aspect for those who want to listen to music without getting tangled in wires. This belt-driven turntable operates at both 33-1/3 and 45 rpm. Overall, everything is good, but the lack of a full-fledged dust cover upset me. This is not a budget option, and the manufacturer could have taken care of protecting their device. Yes, it is a disadvantage, but not that significant.

As someone who has tested many turntables, from vintage models to modern counterparts, the Victrola Stream Carbon pleasantly surprised me. The compatibility with the Sonos system is an amazing solution. In short, it’s a cost-effective way to enhance your existing Sonos system. Setting it up was a breeze. Yes, it won’t set the world on fire, and advanced audiophiles won’t even look at it, but many ordinary users will find it a very attractive option for themselves. And now I will try to convince you of that.

With Bluetooth connectivity, this player allows you to connect speakers or headphones wirelessly. This turntable has a magnetic cartridge stylus, adjustable counterbalance force, and a built-in preamplifier. In addition, the turntable offers a rather interesting feature – digitizing vinyl audio to MP3 via a USB connection to a computer.

I want to mention some points that you may not like or may give you a reason to look for another model. But I am objective, and therefore, I think it is right to tell you about it. The completely manual operation, including the lack of an auto stop/start function, may put off those accustomed to more automated systems. There are some fine-tuning tweaks. This applies to the anti-skate mechanism and the strap. In my experience, this has proven to be a stumbling block for some users. The initial setup really requires patience. So it can be quite a big disadvantage for beginners.

However, if you can cope with the installation, the 1 BY ONE H005 will demonstrate a decent performance. The sound quality is quite pleasant and clear. Also, I didn’t notice skips and jumps on records, even those that were prone to such problems on other turntables. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with the way it works.

ION Audio Premier LP is probably one of the best budget turntables with Bluetooth. It’s quite versatile and, considering its price, could be a great first turntable for a newbie.

This model can operate with a 3-speed turntable (33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm). So it can play any record in your collection. With Bluetooth function, you will be able to play the music through signal transmission to compatible speakers. The USB conversion feature lets you easily digitize your vinyl record collection. It also has built-in speakers, Aux input, and RCA outputs. As you can see, ION Audio Premier LP has all the basic features.

During my introduction to the ION Audio Premier LP, I appreciated its aesthetic appeal and ease of use. The auto shut-off feature is a cool and thoughtful element. While not providing an audiophile experience, the built-in speakers proved satisfactory for everyday listening.

Since this is a fairly simple budget model, it takes a minimum of time to set it up. Even people who see such a device for the first time can easily cope with its setup. However, manual belt adjustments and the occasional need for adjustments may cause some hiccups.
